First Free Will Baptist Church of Springfield, Ohio was organized by 33 charter members on March 3, 1955. Over the years the congregation has met in 3 different buildings, calling the current location at 1028 Lafayette Ave home on December 7, 1975.
Over it’s 70 years, the church has been lead by 10 separate pastors. Notably, in 2019 the church celebrated the retirement of Rev. Mark Rucker, after serving as pastor for 34 years.
Over the years, God has called 5 men of the church to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. All 5 men are serving and preaching in church’s across the United States today.
The church has been blessed to see many souls saved, and begin a relationship with Jesus Christ.
God has certainly blessed our congregation over the years, and we continue to pray that God will continue to bless in the years to come.
